Description

Join us for our neighborhood small business legal office hours, presented in partnership with Wayne State University Law School Business and Community Law Clinic. Sign up for a thirty-minute consultation with a
supervised upper-level law student attorney, who can provide you with legal information if you are a low-income entrepreneur, social entrepreneur or nonprofit leader who cannot afford a private attorney or do not have access to legal representation.

Office hours topics may include transactional corporate, nonprofit and social enterprise law inquiries or challenges, and select business law issues that you may be facing with your organization. Select business issues include starting or operating your business as an immigrant entrepreneur or with immigrant workers. Please bear in mind that during office hours, the Wayne State University Law School Business and Community Law Clinic can only provide general legal information on the areas of law listed above and will not represent you. The consultation is a chance for you to discuss general questions you may have in these areas of law, and to learn about the services of the Business and Community Law Clinic.
